FREDERICK, Md. - Highlighted by wins in eight out of nine flights, the McDaniel College men's tennis team defeated Hood on the road Friday, 6-1.

Sophomore Connor Neal and junior Justin Edwards edged out a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles while seniors Quinn Dietsche and Parth Shah and sophomore Hunter Turlington and junior Sylvan Eichenlaub each won 6-0 at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, respectively.

Edwards defeated Wiley Taylor in straight sets at No. 4 singles while Turlington also won 6-0, 6-0 over Neil Rosario at No. 6 singles.

Dietsche won at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-2 and Shah won at No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-0.  

Eichenlaub picked up the team's fifth point at No. 5 singles with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Chris Krol.

The Green Terror return to action tomorrow when they host Susquehanna beginning at 1 p.m.
