In three tightly contested doubles matches, junior
Justin Edwards and sophomore
Nick Ferraro secured the lone win for the Green Terror (4-12) at No. 3 doubles, posting a hard fought 6-4 win over Hunter Reed and Trent Strous.
Dietsche got the first point for McDaniel at No. 3 singles with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Matt Jacobs before junior
Jake Kegley earned the second with a 7-5, 6-1 win over Stef Gasasira at No. 1 singles.
Shah got a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles over Matt Franz and Edwards earned the fourth point for the Green Terror with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 6 singles.
Ryder secured the win on Senior Day, capturing the fifth point with a win at No. 5 singles, 6-2, 6-2 over Reed.
Sophomore
Connor Neal had a hard-fought match at No. 2 singles against Tristen Ruffley, winning the first set 6-4 before dropping the second, 6-2. Ruffley edged out an 11-9 win in a 10-point tiebreaker in the third set, earning a 4-6, 6-2, 11-9 victory.
The Green Terror return to action tomorrow at York (Pa.) in a rescheduled match from Friday. Start time is at 4 p.m.
