Box Score COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Junior
Justin Edwards had a close and hard-fought match as the McDaniel Green Terror men's tennis team took on Ursinus, losing 6-0.
Edwards took No. 6 singles against C. Schlinwein in a close match. Edwards tied at the first set leading to a 7-point breaker. Edwards came up close, but ultimately fell, losing the first set. After a tough second set Edwards lost with a final score of 6-6 (7-3), 6-4.
Edwards partnered with senior
Drew Ryder at No. 3 doubles to take on T. Snyder and D. Carter. The pair fell 6-0.
Ryder gave his best effort at No. 5 singles as he went and competed against D. Carter. Ryder only won one game in the first set and was able to play a close match during the second set, losing 6-1, 6-4.
Junior
Jake Kegley and sophomore
Connor Neal played at No. 1 doubles as the pair fell to K. Nour and N. Dichter 6-1.
Kegley went on to play No. 1 singles where he was defeated by T. Snyder 6-1, 6-2. Neal went on to play No. 2 singles where he was not able to pick up a game with a final score of 6-0, 6-0.
The Green Terror return to action on the road to take on Gettysburg on April 25th with a start time of 3:30pm.
