LANCASTER, Pa. - Junior Oral-Anthony Coleman and senior Tyren Proctor each posted wins to lead the McDaniel College men's indoor track & field team at the Mini Dip Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall on Saturday.
While there were no team scores, the Green Terror competed against four other Centennial Conference schools, including Franklin & Marshall, Dickinson, Gettysburg, and Muhlenberg.
Coleman won the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.98 seconds while Proctor finished first in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.37 seconds.
Coleman also took sixth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.21 seconds.
Senior Nick Raumann placed second in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:03.34 while senior Chett Brunner took third in the shot put with a throw of 15.09 meters. Sophomore Christian Homer placed third in the long jump with a mark of 6.02 meters and freshman Keiron Wilson took fifth with a jump of 5.99 meters.
Homer placed fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 12.49 meters while Wilson followed in sixth with a jump of 12.36 meters. Freshman Braylon Johnson placed eighth with a jump of 11.47 meters.
Wilson also took fifth in the high jump with a mark of 1.75 meter while Homer posted a mark of 1.55 meters to place 11th.
The 4x200-meter relay team of Proctor, Coleman, senior Kyle Hubbard, and senior Kyle Silver placed fourth in a time of 1:37.12. The 4x400-meter relay team of sophomore Jack Reiser, sophomore Jack Sears, freshman Jerian Batty, and freshman Kaydan Batty placed fifth in 3:39.28.
Reiser placed fifth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:01.88 and Sears placed sixth in the mile with a time of 4:30.98.
Senior Jack McBride placed ninth in pole vault with a mark of 3.30 meters and Jerian Batty placed 10th in the 600 meters with a time of 1:28.62 to move into seventh in program history.
Graham placed 14th in the weight throw with a throw of 12.87 meters while freshman Jacob Gibson posted a mark of 10.66 meters to place 10th in program history.
McDaniel returns to action next Sunday, Feb. 4 at the Richard Drake Invitational hosted by Virginia Wesleyan.
