Box Score WESTMINSTER, Md. - McDaniel took one of the three doubles matches and a pair of individuals, but Penn State Berks controlled the other six matches to beat the Green Terror 6-3.
Parth Shah and fellow sophomore
Quinn Dietsche battled in the doubles set against Berks. They tied 7-7, but were able to win the tie-break 10-3 for their first doubles win of the spring season.
Dietsche followed that up with an 8-6 win against Daniel Popvici in the individual match.
Shah fell to Cole Epting in his match 1-8.Â
Jake Kegley won his second match of the year 8-8, 10-2 against Jazae Marina-Iregi.
Chris Spann and
Evan Darr competed in a tightly contested match against Penn State Berks, but fell in the tie-break 12-10. Both fell in their individual matches.
Josh Krulik competed in the No. 6 singles and lost to Jack Filip 8-6.Â
McDaniel returns to action on Friday against Hood at home. The Match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
