Josh Krulik recorded the team's lone win at No. 6 singles as the Green Terror fell to Lancaster Bible Wednesday on the Warfield Tennis Courts, 8-1.
After hosting Penn State Abington at Carroll Tennis Center on March 10, Wednesday marked the first home match for McDaniel (2-4) this spring.
The Green Terror fell behind 4-0 before Krulik's 6-1, 6-3 victory. He picked up his team-leading third win of the season, improving to 3-2 overall, including 2-0 at No. 6 singles.
One of the team's most contested matches came at No. 5 singles where sophomore
Quinn Dietsche won the first set, 6-1, but dropped the next two, 6-2, 10-2.
Dietsche also battled at No. 2 doubles, partnering with sophomore
Parth Dhah before falling, 8-6.
Graduate student
Chris Spann had a close match at No. 2 singles against Josh Jarvis, but Jarvis prevailed in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.
McDaniel, who plays at home three times this week, returns to action on Saturday when the team hosts Penn State Berks. First serve is at 12 p.m.
