WESTMINSTER, Md. - Tickets for Tuesday's Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Championship quarterfinal between the McDaniel College women's soccer team and Dickinson are on sale now.
New this year, all fans attending conference tournament games will be required to have a ticket. For Tuesday's game, fans can do so one of three ways:
- Online on the Centennial Conference ticketing website here.
- Cash at the venue.
- Online at the venue.
The third-seeded Green Terror (10-2-5) will be making their ninth appearance in the conference tournament and eighth-straight dating back to 2015. They have advanced to the championship game twice in 2016 and 2021, winning their first Centennial Conference title on penalty kicks against Franklin & Marshall in 2021 at Johns Hopkins' Homewood Field.
McDaniel has never faced the Red Devils in 12 previous tournament games and after 36 meetings between the two teams, the all-time series is tied, 16-16-4. The Green Terror are unbeaten in the last three meetings and are 11-5-1 in games played in Westminster.
The sixth-seeded Red Devils (9-7-1) are making their eighth appearance in the Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Championship. They have advanced to the title game six times in seven previous appearances, but are still looking for their first championship. The fell to Johns Hopkins in last year's title game, 4-0.
McDaniel and Dickinson battled to a 1-1 tie in the regular season at Miller Memorial Field. JuniorÂ
Jessica Weinoldt scored in the 21st minute for the Green Terror while Ava Prisco scored for the Red Devils off an assist from Sophia Elguera in the 13th. JuniorÂ
Lauren Hoolahan and Elizabeth Allen each finished with one save as the two teams combined for just eight shots, including four on goal.
Prisco ranks third in the league with seven goals while Emily Dunkel and Maddie St. Amand are tied for fourth in assists with five.
McDaniel has allowed just four goals in 17 games this season while posting 13 shutouts. The team has not allowed a goal in six games, extending its scoreless streak to 617:04, and is ranked sixth in Division III in shutout percentage.
