THE REST OF THE STORY
• McDaniel opened the scoring just 26 seconds into the game when Natalie Hoff found Emily Sheppard (Queenstown, Md./Queen Anne's County) in front of the net. Bryn Mawr, however, netted the next three, including two from Orli McGuire-Berk and a Camille Franklin marker with 10 seconds left in the period for a 3-1 advantage.
Gaby Kohr (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) netted a free-position attempt to cut the deficit to one just 1:57 into the second before McGuire-Berk found Sierra Hamilton to push the lead back to two. Free-position tallies from Keeley Allison and Emma Legacy (Deale, Md./St. Mary's) 18 seconds apart tied the game at 4-all before Lara Jensen (West Chester, Pa./The Tatnell School) and Acadia Noll (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) scored in the final 3:13 of the half for a 6-4 edge.
• Allison hit Hoff in the opening minute of the third quarter before Isabel Shin answered with 10:44 on the clock. Hoff then returned the favor for Allison for an 8-5 lead but three straight Owl tallies tied the game with 6:15 remaining. Just 12 seconds later, Kohr broke the deadlock and started a McDaniel run that saw Hoff score from a pass by Emily Sheppard and Mary Kate Clothier (Lumberton, N.J./Holy Cross Academy) connect on her first goal of the game. Maya DiFrischia scored in the final minute of period close the marin to 11-9.
• DiFrishia added a second straight in the first minute of the fourth quarter to make it 11-10 but Allison responded 27 seconds later off a pass from Hoff. At the 11:19 mark, Isabel Shin found Franklin but the Green Terror scored the final three for the road win.
