THE LEADERS

• T.J. McGuire (Blue Point, N.Y./Bayport-Blue Point) added five hits in the two games.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• In the opener, Joey Hubinger (West Milford, N.J./West Milford) doubled with two outs before scoring on a Tyler Yohn (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern) triple. After an Austin Goudeaux (Elkton, Md./Bohemia Manor) walk, Billy Wheatley doubled both runners in and scored on a Connor Uhrig (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) single for a 4-0 lead in the first inning.
• Two walks and an error had it as a 5-0 game with the bases loaded in the second before a Uhrig triple cleared the bases and pushed the lead to 8-0.
• Lesley got four runs back in the top of the third, keyed by a Cal Caruso two-run single.
• Doubles from Evan Scala (Whiting, N.J./Manchester Twp.), Hubinger, and Goudeaux keyed a three-run bottom of the inning to make it 11-4.
• A pair of errors and two-run double by James Brandon helped the Lynx plate four more in the fourth to trim the margin to 11-8.
• Three walks and a hit batter around a Yohn sacrifice fly loaded the bases in the home fourth before a Wheatley two-run single pushed the lead to 14-8.
• Lesley had its third straight four-run frame behind two more errors and a Justin Dennett two-run triple.
• Five walks played a role in a six-run home fifth that ultimately set the final margin.
• Doubles from Adam Budorick, Caruso, and Ronnie James helped stake the Lynx to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning of game two.
• An error in the home half of the inning opened the door for McDaniel to cut the deficit in half before the hosts used two walks and four singles to score four times in the second for a 5-2 lead.
• McGuire and Scala led off the third with singles before an error pushed the lead to 6-2.
• A Connor Ward (Woolrich, N.J./Kingsway Regional) bases-loaded double and Jake Smith (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills) two-run triple accounted for five of the seven Green Terror runs in the fourth that made it a 13-2 game.
• Santino DeFilippo (Shelton, Conn./Shelton) doubled to lead off the fifth before a one-out pinch-hit home run from Kyle Brown (Frederick, Md./Frederick) made it 15-2. Two batters later, Shane Daly (Haddon Heights, N.J./Haddon Heights) made it two first-time homers in the same inning and set the final score
