THE SKINNY
McDaniel scored four runs in the eighth inning to break open a 5-4 game and top New Jersey City, 9-4.
THE LEADERS
• Tyler Yohn (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern) led the Green Terror with three hits and drove in two runs.
• Ryan Kelly (Wyomissing, Pa./Wilson) struck out six in six innings to improve to 4-0 on the year.

• Matt Kaliske led the Gothic Knights with two hits and an RBI.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Shane Daly (Haddon Heights, N.J./Haddon Heights) led off the bottom of the first inning with a single before stealing second. After moving to third on a groundout, Daly scored on a Tyler Yohn single for a 1-0 lead.
• In the third, Joey Hubinger (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) led off with a double. After Austin Goudeaux (Elkton, Md./Bohemia Manor) was hit by a pitch with one out and stole second, a Jake Smith (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills) single plated both runners for a 3-0 lead.
• Matt Kaliske led off the top of the fourth with a double and scored on a one-out Ali Pompey single to get New Jersey City on the board.
• Ricky Voss manufactured a run in the visitor fifth to close to within 3-2. After singling and stealing second, he moved to third on a wild pitch and scored on a Kaliske sacrifice fly.
• After T.J. McGuire (Blue Point, N.Y./Bayport-Blue Point) one-out walk in the bottom of the sixth, Jack Bayne (Lutherville, Md./Towson) doubled him home before scoring from third on an Evan Scala (Whiting, N.J./Manchester Twp.) single down the line to make it 5-2.
• Josh Hernandez drew a leadoff walk in the seventh before scoring on Mitchell Leslie double with two outs. Back-to-back hit batters and a wild pitch made it 5-4.
• McGuire opened the eighth with a single before taking second on a groundout. After Scala drew a walk, a wild pitch and walk to Daly loaded the bases. Hubinger poked a single through the right side to score two. A Yohn triple scored Daly with two outs before a Smith single set the final margin.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Ryan Gibbons (Lewes, Del./Cape Henlopen) pitched a perfect eighth and ninth to earn his fourth save of the year.
• Shane Daly, Joey Hubinger, Jake Smith, and T.J. McGuire all had two hits. Yohn added three RBIs.
• Tyler Yohn's eighth-inning triple was the team's 24th of the season, which is the most for the Green Terror in a single season since at least 1965.
