THE SKINNY
McDaniel rallied late in game one for a 7-5 victory over Stockton before the game-two rally fell just short to drop the nightcap, 10-9.

THE LEADERS
Shane Daly (Haddon Heights, N.J./Haddon Heights) was one of four Green Terror players with three hits in the twinbill.

FOR THE FOES
• Tucker Elder led the Ospreys with four hits, three runs scored, and two RBIs.
• Mike Schiattarella struck out nine in six innings for the game-two victory.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• In game one, Tucker Elder singled to lead off the game before being erased on a fielder's choice. A hit batter and two-out walk loaded the bases for Thomas Elgrim, who singled for a 2-0 Stockton lead.
• A two-out walk and back-to-back singles from John Perrino and Tommy Talbot made it 3-0 in the second.
Austin Goudeaux (Elkton, Md./Bohemia Manor) tripled to lead off the bottom of the third before scoring on a Jake Smith (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills) single. An error and two-out single from Tyler Perry (Woodbridge, Va./Gar-Field) made it a 3-2 game.
Joey Hubinger (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) singled to lead off the third before a one-out Goudeaux double and Smith RBI groundout tied the game.
• Hubinger walked to start the fifth before moving to third on a Tyler Yohn (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern) double and scoring on a Goudeaux single for a 4-3 lead.
• The Ospreys tied the game in the top of the sixth on a Robbie Ford walk, wild pitch, and Perrino single before Sam Nieves led off the eighth with a home run for a 5-4 edge.
Billy Wheatley (Galloway, N.J./Absegami) drew a walk to lead off the home eighth before moving to second on a sacrifice bunt. A two-out Shane Daly single up the middle tied the game. After Daly stole second, he moved to third on a ball-four wild pitch to Hubinger. Yohn followed with a seeing-eye single for a 7-5 lead.
• Stockton loaded the bases on a hit batter and two walks in the top of the ninth. After the two-out walk to load the bags, Ryan Gibbons (Lewes, Del./Cape Henlopen) got a strikeout to pick up his third save of the year.
• In game two, three sacrifice flies in the first three innings had it as a 2-1 game before a Connor Uhrig (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) two-out walk and Wheatley double tied the game in the home fourth.
• Giovanni Sciarrotta poked a one-out double in the top of the sixth to start a four-run inning that included three straight walks and four total free passes in the inning.
• A one-out walk to Robbie Ford followed by a Elder home run stretched the lead to 8-2 in the seventh.
• Stockton tacked on two more with two outs in the top of the ninth. Elder doubled and stole third on a Perrino walk before back-to-back singles from Nitti and Dominic Meleo made it 10-2.
• Uhrig led off the bottom of the ninth with a triple before a walk to Wheatley and passed ball had runners at second and third for T.J. McGuire (Blue Point, N.Y./Bayport-Blue Point), who singled both runners home to make it a 10-4 game. After a groundout, Daly doubled home McGuire. Two walks around a strikeout loaded the bases before Smith singled to score Daly. An error, hit batter, and walk all forced in a run to make it 10-9 before Kyle Cipolla came on and induced a groundball to earn the save.

THE INSIDE STORY
Austin Goudeaux had three hits in the opener while Tyler Yohn and Jake Smith had two knocks each. Smith also drove in three.
• Jack Valentine (Hockessin, Del./Sanford School) pitched three innings in relief with four strikeouts for the game-one win.
T.J. McGuire had three hits and three RBIs in game two while Daly had two knocks.
