• Sara McDonald (Langhorne, Pa./Council Rock South) recorded a pair of assist to lead the Green Terror, lending a hand on both first-half goals.
• Hannah Schepers (Port Deposit, Md./St. Mark's) scored two times.

• Jocelyn Umana made 11 saves for the Flying Dutchwomen in goal.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Sara McDonald found Hannah Schepers on a crossing pass from the left side just four minutes into the game for a 1-0 lead.
• Olivia Moskunas (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) then finished another McDonald pass just over four minutes later for her first collegiate tally.
• Just 14 seconds into the second half, Elaina Kluttz (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) served a ball that Schepers was able to head home for the final margin. It was the first collegiate point for Kluttz.
THE INSIDE STORY
• McDaniel has recorded six straight shutouts dating back to the end of the 2019 season.
• It is the first time the Green Terror has opened the season with two straight shutouts since 2013.
• McDaniel finished the game with a 19-4 advantage in shots and 8-3 edge in corner kicks.
