THE REST OF THE STORY
• Kealey Allison and Hanna Crowley traded unassisted markers in the game's first 2:11 before Allison found Emma Miller with 26:50 showing for a 2-1 edge. Grace Langen converted a free-position tally just a minute later, though, to once again draw the visitors even. Acadia Noll (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) fed a pair of goals to key a 3-0 burst over a 3-mintue, 7-second stretch for a 5-2 advantage with 17:56 remaining. Noll found Emily Sheppard (Queenstown, Md./ Queen Anne's County) to start the run and Allison to cap the stretch. IN the middle it was Allison once again connecting with Miller. After Crowley and Abby Blankenship (Urbanna, Va./Christchurch) traded markers to keep it a three-goal margin, Reilly Morgan converted a Langen feed with 13:58 showing. Crowley and Abby Krasutsky scored about a minute apart to draw Ursinus even once again. Miller put McDaniel back in front with 7:50 to play in the opening half before Jill Verrelle found the back of the net in the waning seconds of the half to make it a 7-all game at intermission.
• Allison hit Sheppard just 1:55 into the second half before free-position tallies from Natalie Hoff (Westminster, Md./South Carroll) and Miller put the Green Terror back in front by three a minute later. Noll then finished a feed from Lara Jensen (West Chester, Pa./The Tatnall School) from behind to open the largest margin to that point with 26:41 on the clock. After a Morgan tally, Noll found Blankenship before Allison went to work for McDaniel, converting a free-position tally with 22:04 remaining for a 13-8 advantage. Emma Wood and Langen closed the deficit to 13-10 before three straight Allison solo runs in a 3-minute, 49-second span pushed the advantage to six. Two Krasutsky goals momentarily halted the momentum but Allison scored twice around a Langen goal to make it 18-13 with 5:18 to play. Allison capped the Green Terror scoring, finding Sheppard with 4:54 to play. Gabrielle Liott and Crawley each found the back of the net for Ursinus in the final 3:49 to set the final margin.
