THE REST OF THE STORY
• Free-position tallies from Kerry Ullman and Caroline Sullivan 12 seconds apart staked the Bullets to a 2-0 lead before two minutes had elapsed in the game. Sullivan then found Ulman and Bri Strokes around a Kerry McKeever free-position goal to make it a 5-0 game with 25:27 to play in the opening half. A Kealey Allison (Frankford, Del./Indian River) free-position marker broke up the shutout with 23:14 on the clock but McKeever started a run of seven straight goals over the next nearly 20 minutes. Natalie Hoff found the back of the net on an eight-meter shot with 1:49 to play in the opening half.
• Jordan Basso record a goal and three assists as part of a 5-0 stretch in the opening 14:11 of the second half that helped push the lead to 17-2. Abby Blankenship (Urbanna, Va./Christchurch) halted the stretch off a pass from Hoff with 11:23 to play but a goal from Stokes and two from Katie Fullowan in the final 8:46 set the final margin.

Natalie Hoff's first-half goal was the first tally of her McDaniel career.
