THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel scored eight straight goals in a 16-minute, 57-second stretch that spanned both halves to turn a one-goal edge into a nine-goal lead to ultimately top Muhlenberg, 16-6.

THE LEADERS
• Abby Blankenship (Urbanna, Va./Christchurch) led the Green Terror with four goals and an assist.
• Kealey Allison (Frankford, Del./Indian River) added three goals and three assists.
• Emma Miller (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) established a career high with eight draw controls to go with her three goals.

• Ariella Lerner led the Mules with a goal and an assist.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Mia Wilson (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) found a cutting Kealey Allison for a 1-0 McDaniel lead just 2:5 into the game. Samantha Eynon responded just 38 seconds later to knot the game. Abby Blankenship, however, finished another feed from Wilson to put the hosts in front for good just 62 seconds later. Emma Miller and Allison each finished solo runs for a 4-1 lead that forced a Mule timeout with 16:58 to play. Madeline Dill and Abby Winkler drew Muhlenberg within 4-3 with 8:41 remaining, resulting in a McDaniel timeout. Out of the stoppage, Miller won the ensuing draw and the found the back of the net with 7:47 to play to start an 8-0 Green Terror run. Blankenship hit Emily Sheppard (Queensboro, Md./Queen Anne's County) on her way to the cage a minute later before Allison found Acadia Noll (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) directly off the next draw to make it a 7-3 game. Back-to-back bounce shots from Mary Kate Clothier (Lumberton, N.J./Holy Cross Academy) in the final 2:52 of the half made it 9-3 at the intermission.
• Blankenship fired two home in the first 4:25 of the second half, finishing an 8-meter shot and finding the back of the net off an Allison feed. Miller capped the stretch with an unassisted goal at the 20:50 mark. Ariella Lerner and Nichole Steiner scored 1:38 apart on unassisted tallies to trim the margin to 12-5 with 17:04 to play but Sheppard took a pass from Noll on the doorstep and finished high then Allison connected with Blankenship once again. Kaylen Buschhorn (Austin, Texas/Lake Travis) found the back of the net for the first time this season to make it a 10-goal game with 11:17 to play. Allison capped her hat trick with a free-positing tally in the final 4:40. Emily Gaffney also finished from eight meters in the final minute for the final margin.

THE INSIDE STORY
• The four goals and five points were both career highs for Abby Blankenship.
• Kealey Allison, who tallied her 13th career hat trick, recorded her first collegiate game with multiple assists.
• Hannah Miller (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) made six saves in 51:26 between the pipes, allowing just five goals.
• McDaniel had a 34-17 advantage in shots for the game.
