Washington (Md.) jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first 10 minutes and never looked back in a 17-0 win over McDaniel.

• Courtney Shumaker (Cooksville, Md./Glenelg) led the Green Terror with four caused turnovers and four ground balls.
• Acadia Noll (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) added three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
• Hannah Miller (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) made seven saves in nearly 44 minutes between the pipes.

• Colleen Keefe led the Shorewomen with six goals.
• Anna Bennett added three goals of her own.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Colleen Keefe tallied twice in a 1-minute, 32-second stretch for a 2-0 Washington lead just 5:54 into the game. After Ellie Morrall connected on a free-position tally, Anna Bennett finished a pair of solo runs for a 5-0 lead with 20:35 to play in the opening half. Two more Keefe goals stretched the lead to 7-0 with 14:33 showing. Bennett rounded out her hat trick with 9:09 to play for a 9-0 lead and Morgan Sutherland made it a 10-goal advantage 36 seconds later.
• Six different Shorewomen scored seven second-half goals for the final margin.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Washington finished the game with a 25-11 advantage in shots and on 14 of the 19 draw controls.
