THE REST OF THE STORY
Mary Kate Clothier (Lumberton, N.J./Holy Cross Academy) converted three times in the first 7:35 of the game to complete a hat trick and stake McDaniel to an early 3-1 lead. She hit a pair of free-position goals around a Stephanie Dowling unassisted goal before capping the run off a feed from Kealey Allison. Two Gabi Tooney goals around a tally from Caroline Chase gave Susquehanna a 4-3 edge with 8:25 to play in the opening half.
• A Lara Jenson (West Chester, Pa./The Tatnall School) free-position tally sparked a 4-0 Green Terror run over a 3-minute, 5-second span to go in front 7-4 with 2:58 to play in the opening half. Four different McDaniel players scored, including Allison off a Kaylen Buschhorn (The Hills, Texas/Lake Travis) feed for the sophomore's first collegiate point on the helper. Tooney and Dowling closed the margin to one at the break.
• After Allison and Tori Lombardi traded goals 14 seconds apart to start the second half, Acadia (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) finished a solo run for a 9-7 lead with 25:30 on the clock. Back-to-back Allison tallies pushed the lead to four with 23:32 showing. Dowling scored twice in a 4-minute, 29-second span and found Tooney for a third point to close the River Hawks to within 11-10 with 18:18 to play. Two Allison goals and one from Tori Arcilesi (Bel Air, Md./Harford Tech) in a two-minute window pushed the lead back to four. Leading 15-12, Arcilesi completed her hat trick and Allison scored two more a minute apart for an 18-12 lead with 12:08 remaining. Jensen finished a solo run with 7:49 on the clock for a 19-12 lead before Dowling capped the day with 6:09 for the final margin.

THE INSIDE STORY
• The eight goals, nine points and 16 draw controls were all career bests for Kealey Allison.
• Allison's 16 draw controls is a program record for a single game and No. 2 in Centennial Conference history, one shy of Stephanie Umbach's (Muhlenberg) record of 17.
• The eight goals in a game is the second most in program history and most since Erinn Hopkins had eight on Apr. 23, 2008.
Mary Kate Clothier recorded her third collegiate hat trick while Acadia Noll had her first. Tori Arcilesi had her first three-goal outing of the season.
