THE SKINNY STORY
Marymount scored in five of its six plate appearances in game one to capture a 7-3 win over McDaniel before using a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh of game two for a 3-2 victory that completed the sweep.

• Isaiah Ishmail (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) led the Green Terror with three hits in the twinbill, including two in game one.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Bill Wojcik blasted a two-out homer to left in the bottom of the first inning for a 1-0 lead in the opener.
• A two-out James DiGiulian double to the gap and Alex Lamery sent the first pitch he saw out to right-center for a 3-0 lead.
• Jarod Pezzano (Stevensville, Md./Kent Island) dropped a leadoff single to right in the third before taking second on a wild pitch and scoring on a T.J. McGuire (Blue Point, N.Y./Bayport-Blue Point) two-out single.
• Mike Ferrera doubled in the bottom of the inning and score on a groundout to push the lead back to three.
• Singles from Pezzano and Isaiah Ishmail coupled with a balk cut the deficit to 4-2 before a Colin Franke (Highland Mills, N.Y./Cornwell Central) single to right scored Ishmail to make it a one-run game.
• Casey Baker, however, doubled with two outs in the home fifth and then scored on a Ryan Maylie single.
• A leadoff walk and three singles in the bottom of the sixth set the final margin.
