McDaniel won 11 of the 14 events to key a 126-125 win over Bryn Mawr.
THE LEADERS
• Blair Boyle (Springfield, N.J./Villa Walsh Academy) led the Green Terror with four victories. She touched first in the 1000 free (11:17.15), 50 free (26.16 seconds) and 500 free (5:30.88) in the addition to anchoring the 200 free relay to victory (1:47.37).
• Sara Hegna (Brielle, N.J./Manasquan) added four wins of her own, including individual wins in the 100 backstroke (1:01.18), 200 backstroke (2:16.65) and 200 IM (2:19.28). She also led off the 200 medley relay (1:57.82).
• Hannah Cehelsky (Sudbury, Mass./Lincoln Sudbury Regional) touched first in the 200 free (2:05.78) and 100 free (58.75 seconds). She was also part of the 200 free relay (1:47.37).
• Ella Tomkins (Matarangi, New Zealand/Mercury Bay) rounded out the individual wins with a victory in the 100 butterfly (1:02.45). She was also on both winning relays.
• Megan Gorsuch (Freeland, Md./Hereford) and Ashley Farrington joined Hegna and Tomkins on the 200 medley relay (1:57.82).
• Emma Lindell (Frederick, Md./Frederick) joined Cehelsky, Tomkins and Boyle on the winning 200 free relay (1:47.37).
FOR THE FOES
• Hannah Solsson won the 100 breaststroke (1:15.68) to lead the Owls.
• Kelly Peterson won the 200 butterfly (2:17.79).
• Mays Schneider won the 200 breaststroke (2:43.90).
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Ashley Farrington placed second in the 200 free (2:09.64). She was also third in the 50 free (26.76).
• Ella Tomkins finished second in the 200 butterfly (2:18.43).
• Megan Gorsuch finished third in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.08) and 200 IM (2:29.40).
• Emma Lindell was third in the 1000 free (12:25.51).
• Hannah Cehelsky was third in the 500 free (5:38.31).
THE INSIDE STORY
• Blair Boyle's winning time in the 1000 free ranks ninth in program history.
• Ella Tomkins time in the 200 butterfly ranks seventh in program history.
• Anna Petenbrink (200 back), Megan Gorsuch (200 breast, 200 IM) and Emma Lindell (500 free) turned in personal-best times.
