LANCASTER, Pa. - The 200-yard freestyle relay team highlighted competition for the McDaniel College women's swimming team on day three of the 2025 Centennial Conference Swimming Championships.
The Green Terror sit in eighth place with 103 points, just 6.5 behind Bryn Mawr with one day remaining.
The 200 free relay team of senior Amanda Thompson, sophomore Kaylie Wolf, freshman Nora Virgilio, and junior Jane Walkinshaw placed eighth with a time of 1:46.90. The B team of freshman Georgia Cole, senior Tori McArthur, junior Mackenzie Skelton, and freshman Mackenzie Leeson placed 16th in a time of 1:57.30.
Thompson placed 14th in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:00.76 and Lesson placed 22nd with a time of 2:32.86.
McArthur placed 17th in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 5:25.24.
In the 100-yard breaststroke, Cole placed 21st with a time of 1:22.52 while Wolf followed in 22nd with a time of 1:25.04.
Walkinshaw placed 23rd in the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 1:04.94.
Skelton placed 29th in the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 1:11.75. Virgilio came in 31st with a time of 1:15.47 and sophomore Britney Ramirez-Valle placed 32nd.
McDaniel concludes competition at the conference championships on Sunday.
