LANCASTER, Pa. - First-year
Marisa Otero placed 20th in the 100-yard backstroke to lead the McDaniel College women's swimming team on the third day of the 2026 Centennial Conference Swimming Championships Saturday at Franklin & Marshall.
The Green Terror are in ninth place with 86 points. With 561 points, Swarthmore holds a slim lead over Johns Hopkins who has 542.5 points.
Otero just missed qualifying for the B final in the 100 back with a time of 1:03.82.

Kaylie Wolf finished 14th with a time of 1:47.23 while sophomore
Mackenzie Leeson, senior
Mackenzie Skelton, sophomore

Lilly-Anne Higgins came in 21st in 1:56.70.
Hain placed 30th in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:03.69 while Skelton closed out her final conference championship meet with a 33rd-place finish in 1:09.34.

Jazlyn Sivak completed the 200-yard freestyle in 29th place with a time of 2:34.73.
In the 100-yard breaststroke, Cole touched the wall in 29th with a time of 1:22.86 while Leeson finished 30th in 1:28.23.
Due to impending winter weather, the fourth and final day of the conference championships will get underway on Sunday morning at 8 a.m. The updated schedule is below.

9:20 a.m. - 40 minute break
10 a.m. - 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 200 butterfly
11:30 a.m. - 2 fastest heats of 1650 free
12:10 p.m. - 400 freestyle relay
12:50 p.m. - MOP & team awards
