WESTMINSTER, Md - The Green Terror competed at home for senior day. In a dual meet with Dickinson the Green Terror lost 70-23.
Junior Jane Walkinshaw won the 200 yard freestyle in a time of 27.07. Kaylie Wolf followed in third with a time of 28.84.
Senior Amanda Thompson placed second in the 400 yard IM with a time of 5:11.15. Thompson also placed second in the 100 yard freestyle in a time of 58.49. Walkinshaw placed fourth in a time of 1:01.34.
Junior Mackenzie Skelton placed second in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:16.57. Sophomore Eleanor Virgilio placed third in a time of 1:18.15. Skelton placed third in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 13:44.09.
Senior Tori McArthur placed second in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:47.56. She would also place third in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:25.16.
The 200 yard medley relay of Freshman Georgia Cole, Sophomore Kaylie Wolf, McArthur, and Virgilio placed second in a time of 2:15.06. The 200 yard freestyle relay of Walkinshaw, Wolf, Virgilio, and Thompson placed second with a time of 1:53.84.
Cole placed third in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:23.21. Freshman Mackenzie Leeson followed in fourth with a time of 2:47.43. Leeson also placed third in the 5000 yard freestyle in a time of 7:38.33.
The McDaniel College Swim Team will be back in action on February 20th for the start of the Centennial Conference Championship at Franklin & Marshall.
