GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The McDaniel College women's swimming team opened its 2025-26 season with a quad meet against Centennial Conference rivals Gettysburg, Johns Hopkins, Washington College and Bryn Mawr on Saturday.

Senior
Mackenzie Skelton clocked in at 13:17.04 in the 1000 yard freestyle while Otero finished with a time of 1:08.07 in the 100-yard backstroke. Sophomore
Georgia Cole ended the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:27.23, while first year
Ryan Nurse finished at 1:54.99 in the same event.
Wolf clocked in at 27.52 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle and Bouwmeester clocked a time of 1:02.02 in the 100-yard freestyle. Otero had a time of 2:29.03 in the 200-yard backstroke in event 18.

Atlas Schiavo-Campo not far behind at 2:29.29.
The women's swimming team returns to action on Nov. 1 on the road against Penn State Altoona. The meet will begin at 1 pm.
