Franklin & Marshall won six of the first eight events to secure a 50-31 win over McDaniel.
THE LEADERS
• Sara Hegna (Brielle, N.J./Manasquan) led the Green Terror with a victory in the 50 free (25.20 seconds) and 200 backstroke (2:10.99).
• Megan Gorsuch (Freeland, Md./Hereford) took first place in the 200 breaststroke (2:25.79).
• Blair Boyle (Springfield, N.J./Villa Walsh Academy), Hegna, Ella Tomkins (Matarangi, New Zealand/Mercury Bay) and Ashley Farrington teamed for a win in the 200 free relay (1:43.32).
FOR THE FOES
• Julie McFadden won the 200 free (1:59.26) and 100 free (54.50 seconds) to lead the Diplomats.
• Tara Kupsky touched first in the 400 IM (4:47.04).
• Skye Howes was victorious in the 200 butterfly (2:15.30).
• Sarah Gartner touched first in the 500 free (5:28.66).
• Janashree Jonnalagadda, Maya Blaisure, Howes and Erin Fago opened the meet with a win in the 400 medley relay (4:13.03).
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Blair Boyle was second in the 200 free (2:00.16) and 500 free (5:29.42).
• Hannah Cehelsky (Sudbury, Mass./Lincoln Sudbury Regional) finished third in the 200 free (2:05.30) and 100 free (58.00).
• Ella Tomkins placed third in the 200 fly (2:20.17).
