THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel won seven of the 10 scored events to key a 49-37 victory over Stevenson.
THE LEADERS
• Hannah Cehelsky (Sudbury, Mass./Lincoln Sudbury Regional) led the Green Terror with two individual wins, touching first in the 200 free (2:06.18) and 100 free (59.12 seconds). She was also part of the 200 free relay win (1:47.63).
• Sara Hegna (Brielle, N.J./Manasquan) added an individual win in the 100 back (1:00.66) and also contributed a leg on both winning relays. She anchored the 200 medley relay to a time of 2:02.41 and led off the 200 free relay (1:47.63).
• Blair Boyle (Springfield, N.J./Villa Walsh Academy) touched first in the 100 butterfly (1:05.89) and also contributed a leg on both winning relays.
• Ashley Farrington rounded out the individual winners with a victory in the 50 free (27.06 seconds).
• Ella Tomkins (Matarangi, New Zealand/Mercury Bay) rounded out both relays while Megan Gorsuch (Freeland, Md./Hereford) joined Tomkins, Boyle and Hegna on the 200 medley relay.
FOR THE FOES
• Melanie Milam won three times for the three Mustang victories. She touched first in the 200 IM (2:18.03), 500 free (5:30.17) and 100 breaststroke (1:14.41).
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Ella Tomkins added a second-place finish in the 200 IM (2:24.50).
• Ashley Farrington added a second-place showing in the 500 free (6:05.49).
• Emma Lindell (Frederick, Md./Frederick) was second in the 100 butterfly (1:11.22) and third in the 100 breaststroke (1:27.37).
THE INSIDE STORY
• The meet was added to the schedule over the weekend for Stevenson to celebrate Senior Day. It means a three-met week for McDaniel, which now swims at Dickinson on Wednesday and home against Franklin & Marshall on Friday.
