McDaniel scored four runs in the fifth inning to key a 6-2 win over Maine-Farmington in the final game of its Florida trip to the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.

THE LEADERS
• DJ Biscoe (Millersville, Md./Old Mill) led the Green Terror with three hits, two runs and an RBI.
• Jordan Rhodes (Fawn Grove, Pa./McDonogh [Md.]) went six innings on the mound with eight strikeouts and no walks.
• Brad Thaxton (Stevensville, Md./DeMatha) fanned five in three innings of relief to pick up the save.

FOR THE FOES
• Chase Malloy led the Beavers with two hits.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Justin Rodrigue led off the fourth with a double before scoring on a Derek Bowen groundout for a 1-0 Maine-Farmington lead.
• Evan Finch (Laurel, Md./St. John's College) singled to lead off the fifth before pinch-runner Darrius Speaks (Randallstown, Md./Patapsco) scored on a Brad Thaxton triple to tie the game. A TJ McGuire (Blue Point, N.Y./Bayport-Blue Point) RBI single gave McDaniel a 2-1 lead. A DJ Biscoe two-out double plated McGuire before he stole second and took third on a passed ball for a 4-1 advantage.
• A two-run Ryan Downes (Hagerstown, Md./St. Maria Goretti) scored Biscoe and Daly for a 6-1 lead in the top of the eighth.
• An error and Troy Johnson two-out single set the final score in the bottom of the ninth.
