Brett Anderson (Wilmington, Del./Tower Hill) led the Green Terror (6-8, 0-4 CC) with a 4-for-5 day at the plate.
Mike Smith led the Blue Jays (13-9, 3-1 CC) with a 3-for-4 day and three RBIs.
Tim Kutcher led off the first with a single back up the middle on the first pitch of the game before stealing second and scoring on a Alex Darwiche two-out knock for a 1-0 lead.
A Zach Jaffe single and Darwiche home run just inside the left-field foul pole stretched the lead to 3-0 in the third.
Anderson led off the bottom of the inning with a single up the middle and scored on a Tom Daly (Haddon Heights, N.J./Haddon Heights) two-out hit to right to make it a 3-1 game.
Four hits, including a bunt single, stretched the advantage to 5-1 in the fifth.
Kasey Nelson (St. Pete's Beach, Fla./St. Michael's [Md.]) led off the sixth with a double before taking third on a ground out and scoring on a wild pitch.
Two-run singles from Mike Smith and Chris DeGiacomo keyed a seven-run seventh inning to break open a 12-2 lead.
The Green Terror plated three in the bottom of the seventh and two in the home eighth on DJ Biscoe's (Millersville, Md./Old Mill) first career home run, closing the deficit to 12-7.
Johns Hopkins got those two runs back in the top of the ninth.
