BALTIMORE, Md. – Johns Hopkins scored single runs in six of its eight half-innings for a 6-1 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) baseball action on Tuesday.

Antonio Rosanova (Laurel, Md./DeMatha) recorded two hits to lead the Green Terror (6-7, 0-3 CC), who had nine hits on the day but stranded eight runners on base.

Tim Kutcher led the Blue Jays (12-9, 2-1 CC) as one of four players with two knocks on the evening, adding his first collegiate home run in the eighth inning.

Zach Jaffe had a one-out base knock to right field in the bottom of the first before stealing second. He took third on an infield single and was able to score the game's first run on a Chris DeGiacomo RBI groundout.

Tom Daly (Haddon Heights, N.J./Haddon Heights) blasted a one-out home run over the left-field fence to tie the game in the top of the second.

Johns Hopkins, however, responded with an Austin Sacks leadoff dinger in the bottom of the inning.

A Mike Eberle one-out single and Sacks RBI groundout stretched the lead to 3-1 in the fifth.

A Jaffe double played Dillon Bowman in the sixth before Alex Darwiche led off the seventh with a triple and scored on a Mike Smith RBI single into the left-field corner.
