Myers leads way

CARLISLE, Pa. – Dickinson won a pair of singles matches without dropping a game to key a 9-0 win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men's tennis action on Tuesday.

Tate Myers (East Berlin, Pa./Bermudian Springs) led the Green Terror (3-10, 0-6 CC), teaming with Will Giles (LaVale, Md./Bishop Walsh) to fall in a tiebreaker at No. 1 doubles 7-3 to drop the match, 9-8. Myers also fell at No. 4 singles 8-1 in a proset match after a decision was reached.

Derek Chen won twice for the Red Devils (7-5, 1-3 CC), teaming with Peter Schmidt for an 8-0 win at second doubles before winning third singles, 6-0, 6-0.

The Green Terror returns to action at home against Ursinus on Saturday. Match time is 1 p.m.
