Farrell records three goals, three assists in win

WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel scored five goals in the first 4:52 to key an 18-0 win over Bryn Mawr in Centennial Conference (CC) women's lacrosse action on Saturday.

Allison Farrell (Towson, Md./Loch Raven) led the Green Terror (5-11, 1-8 CC) in her final collegiate game, scoring three goals and adding three assists. She also had four draw controls and two caused turnovers. Abby Phillips (New Freedom, Pa./North Harford [Md.]), also playing in her final game, added a team-best four goals.

Katie Alpert led the Owls (1-14, 0-9 CC), making 13 saves in goal.

Phillips opened the scoring, finishing a Lindsey Farrell (Towson, Md./Loch Raven) assists just 56 seconds into the game.

Tori Arcilesi (Bel Air, Md./Harford Tech) doubled the advantage off the first of Emily Brownawell's (Sparks, Md./Oldsfield) four assists just 36 seconds later.

With 27:14 on the clock, Olivia Geiger (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) made it a 3-0 game before Lindsey Farrell finished from Brownawell 25 seconds later.

Arcilesi netted her second off a Geiger feed with 25:08 to play in the first half.

Allison Farrell netted her first with 23:28 showing before Brownawell found Phillips and Paige Meszaros (Hamilton Square, N.J./Steinert) over the next 11 minutes for an 8-0 lead.

Annemarie Duerr (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) found the back of the net before Farrell scored twice in the final 1:37 of the first half for an 11-0 halftime advantage.

Kelly Novak (Millington, N.J./Watchung Hills) netted her first collegiate goal 1:42 into the second half.

Olivia Maenner (Towson, Md./Notre Dame Prep) and Megan Kotelchuck (Crofton, Md./Elizabeth Seton) also got into the scoring column while Novak added a second tally with 16:49 to play.

McDaniel finished with a 35-0 advantage in shots and won 17 of 19 draw controls. Duerr and Geiger joined Farrell with four draw controls.
