Giles takes opening singles set to limit

ORLANDO, Fla. – Wis.-LaCrosse swept doubles play en route to a 9-0 win over McDaniel in non-conference men's tennis action on Wednesday.

Will Giles (LaVale, Md./Bishop Walsh) led the Green Terror (1-5) at first singles, falling in the first set 7-6 before Austin Stefanich was able to complete the sweep, 6-2.

Giles and Tate Myers (East Berlin, Pa./Bermudian Springs) also played the closest doubles match, falling 8-3 in the third slot.

Dylan Mannetter led the Eagles (11-4) with a 6-0, 6-0 win at sixth singles.

McDaniel returns to action against Illinois Wesleyan to close its Florida trip on Friday.
