WESTMINSTER, Md. – Jose Pac (Westminster, Md./Inter American) won four times, including anchoring the 200 free relay, to lead McDaniel over St. Mary's in non-conference men's swimming action on Saturday.

Scoring:

• The Green Terror (1-3) defeated the Seahawks (2-5) by a score of 58-55. The 200 free relay finished the meet with a 3.43-second victory to capture the victory.

Head of the Class: The following athletes won multiple events at the meet:

• Individually, Jose Pac won the 150 free (1:16.77) and 50 free (22.05 seconds). He also was part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:39.43) and 200 free relay (1:29.47).
• Individually, Paul Van Nevel won the 150 backstroke (1:26.60) and 50 backstroke (25.42 seconds). He also was part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:39.43).
• Individually, Adam Halmy (Shenandoah, Texas/College Park) won the 50 breaststroke (28.65 seconds). He also was part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:39.43) and 200 free relay (1:29.47).
• Individually, Grayson Blanchard (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) won the 50 butterfly (24.11 seconds). He also was part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:39.43) and 200 free relay (1:29.47).

Striking Gold: The following athletes won a single event at the meet:

• Nick Villareal (Fleetwood, Pa./Berks Catholic) joined Grayson Blanchard, Adam Halmy and Jose Pac on the winning 200 free relay (1:29.47).

Precious Metal: The following athletes finished second or third in an event at the meet:

• Paul Van Nevel finished second in the 300 IM (3:17.95).
• Brandon Loehmer (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannock) finished second in the 600 free (6:13.12).
• Adam Halmy finished second in the 150 breaststroke (1:42.21).
• Michael Brant (Wilmington, Del./Cab Calloway School of the Arts) finished third in the 150 butterfly (1:34.32) and 50 backstroke (28.47 seconds).
• Nick Villareal finished third in the 150 backstroke (1:34.64).
• Grayson Blanchard finished third in the 300 IM (3:20.84).
• Zach Kiick (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) finished third in the 100 IM (1:01.89).

For the Foes: The following St. Mary's athletes won events at the meet:

• Andrew Scott won the 600 free (6:03.09) and 300 IM (3:14.08.
• Ryan Akhaven won the 150 butterfly (1:31.34).
• Kieran Broder won the 150 breaststroke (1:39.83) and 100 IM (58.89 seconds).
