LANCASTER, Pa. - McDaniel College men's swimming freshman
Zach Duck notched a season-best time in the 500-yard freestyle to highlight day two of the 2025 Centennial Conference Swimming Championships.
The Green Terror finished the day in seventh place with 86 points.
Duck finished with a time of 4:53.87, besting his previous high mark of 5:12.03 set in a tri-meet against Gallaudet and Goucher on Jan. 25. Duck barely missed the final cut, finishing .24 seconds outside the top 16.
Freshman
Niall Navarra clocked in with a time of 2:06.64 in the 200-yard individual medley while freshman
Connor Woodward finished with a time of 24.30 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle.
In Friday night's finals, the relay team of Duck, Navarra, sophomore
Josh Morgan and senior
Christian Walker finished the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:57.40.
The third day of the conference championship on Saturday begins with the prelims at 10 a.m. followed by the finals at 6 p.m.
