WESTMINSTER, Md. – Johns Hopkins won both contest doubles matches 8-0 en route to a 9-0 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men's tennis action on Friday.
Matt Diers (Fort Solongo, N.Y./IMG Academy) led the Green Terror (0-12, 0-8 CC), winning a game in the second set at third singles. Jeremy Dubin won the match, 6-0, 6-1.
Mike Buxbaum led the 26th-ranked Blue Jays (13-5, 7-1 CC), winning twice without dropping a game. He and Dubin teamed for an 8-0 win at first doubles before he took first singles, 6-0, 6-0.
The Green Terror concludes the season at home against Gettysburg on Saturday. Match time is 1 p.m.
