WESTMINSTER, Md. – Muhlenberg won all three doubles matches en route to a 9-0 win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men's tennis action on Saturday.
Will Giles (LaVale, Md./Bishop Walsh) led the Green Terror (0-8, 0-6 CC), taking the first set at No. 1 singles. David Woods responded with a 6-3 win of his own in the second set before winning a super-tiebreaker third set, 10-4.
Mickey Schindler led the Mules (3-6, 1-4 CC), winning twice on the day. He dropped just one set. He and Derrick Eng won first doubles 8-0 before Schindler took second singles, 6-1, 6-0.
McDaniel returns to action at home against York (Pa.) on Sunday. Match time is 2 p.m.
