COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Syd Knadler (Crowley Lake, Calif./Mammoth) won two times to lead McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) women's swimming action at Ursinus on Saturday.
Scoring:
- The Bears (2-0, 2-0 CC) defeated the Green Terror (0-2, 0-2 CC) by a score of 112-88.
Head of the Class: The following athletes won multiple events at the meet:
- Syd Knadler won two times. She touched first in the 50 free (25.09 seconds) and 100 free (55.34) as well.
Striking Gold: The following athletes won a single event at the meet:
- Kelly Lewis (Montgomery Village, Md./Watkins Mill) was victorious in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:11.35.
- Joanna Wattenberg (Monrovia, Md./Urbana), Becca Sykes (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton), Cara Dube (Milford, Conn./Joseph A. Foran) and Carly Deickman (Bishopville, Md./Stephen Decatur) won the 200 free relay to cap the meet (1:50.35).

- Peyten Lyons, Alli Hemp, Clara Baker and Sydney Gundersen teamed to win the 200 medley relay (1:51.76).
- Peyten Lyons added a second win the 200 free (2:00.88).
- Sydney Gunderson added a second win the 200 IM (2:15.52).
- Clara Baker added a second win in the 100 butterfly (58.04).
- Margrethe Leis won the 1000 free (11:15.23).
- Maggie Leitz won the 100 backstroke (1:01.30).
- Allison Emick won the 500 free (5:34.71).
