SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Justin Allen (Ashburn, Va./Broad Run) won twice to lead McDaniel at Swarthmore in the Centennial Conference (CC) men's swimming opener for both teams on Saturday.
Scoring:
- The Garnet (1-0, 1-0 CC) defeated the Green Terror (0-1, 0-1 CC) by a score of 145-59.
Head of the Class: The following athletes won multiple events at the meet:
- Justin Allen won two times. He was part of the 200 medley relay that won with a time of 1:39.15. He also touched first in the 100 breaststroke (59.43 seconds).
- Grayson Blanchard (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) was also part of the winning 200 medley relay. He also touched first in the 100 butterfly (54.26 seconds).

- Andrew Steele won the 50 free (21.70 seconds) and 100 free (48.38).
- Michael Lutzker won the 1000 free (10:00.51) and 500 free (4:50.91).
- Jeffrey Tse won the 200 free (1:47.58).
- Gabe Caldwell won the 200 IM (2:01.13).
- Liam Fitzstevens won the 100 back (53.05 seconds).
- Steve Sekula, Tse, Nigel Van Ha and Charles Yang won the 200 free relay (1:28.66).
