GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The McDaniel College men's swimming team opened its 2025-26 season with a tri meet against Centennial Conference rivals Gettysburg, Johns Hopkins and Washington College on Saturday.

Quinn McCormick finished with a final time of 1:50.51 in the 200-yard medley relay to open the day's events.
Sophomore
Zach Duck placed sixth in the 1000-yard freestyle, clocking in with a final time of 10:55.89 and finishing with a time of 24.59 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle. Sophomore
Joshua Morgan finished with a time of 1:52.64 in the 200-yard freestyle and a time of 5:26.25 in the 500-yard freestyle.
Gell placed 10
th in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:03.43 while McCormick placed 10
th in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:14.19. Minarcik clocked in at 2:16.92 for the 200-yard butterfly. The team finished the day's events with a time of 1:42.03 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
The men's swimming team returns to action on Nov. 1 on the road against Penn State Altoona. The meet will begin at 1 pm.
