HELLO, ALUMS: Today is Homecoming on the Hill for McDaniel. The Green Terror is 54-27-1 on Homecoming, including winning 13 of the last 23. This is the second straight trip that Dickinson has made to Westminster for Homecoming. The Red Devils won 33-28 in 2014 but were also the Homecoming opponent in 2006 when the Red Devils were 24-17 victors. Dickinson was also the Family Weekend foe for McDaniel in both 2008 and 2010 with split results. The Green Terror won 20-13 in a driving rainstorm in 2008 while the Red Devils were 41-16 winners in 2010.
NO SACK ZONE: For the third time this season, the McDaniel offensive line did not allow a sack. On Saturday, that offensive line of Jared Staub (Union Bridge, Md./Francis Scott Key), Paul Flagg (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown), John Linnehan (Camp Hill, Pa./East Pennsboro), Michael Martucci (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown), Vince Gorgone and Hunter Metcalf (Blain, Pa./West Perry) was facing the conference's top defense. Franklin & Marshall had recorded 21 sacks in its first five games – eight more than any other conference defense. The Green Terror unit ranks second in the CC, allowing just seven sacks through six games.
SECOND-HALF TEAM: McDaniel finds itself in a halftime hole in four of the six games this season. In the opener, the Green Terror held a slim 7-6 edge at the break and led Ursinus 17-14 at halftime in the team's last home game – a 30-27 victory. However in the last two games, McDaniel has found itself trailing by multiple scores before playing even in the second half. At Gettysburg on Oct. 1, the Bullets led 24-6 at halftime before McDaniel outscored their hosts 17-14 in the final 30 minutes. The Green Terror also outgained Gettysburg 202-165 in the second half. Last week at Franklin & Marshall, the Diplomats led 18-0 at halftime before the teams played even in the second half. Each team scored seven points after the break and McDaniel had a slim 116-114 edge in total yards.
KEEP MARCHING ALONG: Of the Green Terror's 18 scoring drives, 12 have been methodical marches down the field that have last 10 or more plays. McDaniel has also had three more drives of 10 or more plays that failed to result in points, including a fumble inside the five-yard line at Moravian. Seven of those 12 long drives have also consumed clock, eating up five or minutes. The Green Terror is third in the conference in time of possession, averaging 31 minutes, 35 seconds per game.
WHAT A BOOT: Doug MacArthur, in his first season as the starting punter, is averaging 38.0 yards per punt. His average ranks third in the conference over his 33 punts. He has dropped nine of those kicks inside the 20-yard line and forced 12 fair catches. The senior has just one touchback. He unfurled eight punts last week for a total of 310 yards.

The 66.7-percent conversion rate is tied for second in the conference while the 10 first downs is tied for the most of any team in the league. He enters today's game with an overall record of 1-5 after registering his first win on Sept. 24 with a 30-27 victory over Ursinus. Dailey joined the Green Terror staff in 2009 with a pedigree of success at all levels of football that included compiling a record of 115-83 and two championships in 12 years as a head coach in the Arena Football League (AFL), leading the Albany Firebirds and Colorado Crush that included winning league titles in 1999 and 2005.
