Pair of doubles compete at ITAs

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - A pair of McDaniel men's tennis players competed in the Blue 3 Doubles draw at the ITA Southeast Regional tournament hosted by Mary Washington on Saturday.

Andrew Kenrick (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) and Corey Glocker (Silver Spring, Md./Blake) won their opening match at the tournament, defeating Muhlenberg's Nicholas Oliveti and Jonathan Yandle. The match went to a tiebreaker, which Kendrick and Glocker won 7-5 to take the match, 9-8.

In the quarterfinals, Hampden-Sydney's Trent Singleton and Levy Young knocked Kenrick and Glocker from the tournament with an 8-3 victory.

Matthew Diers (Fort Solongo, N.Y./IMG Academy) and Carter Trousdale (Hanover Park, Ill./Hoffman Estate) also competed in the same draw, falling in their opening match 8-4 to Moravian's Peter Demyan and Isaac Schefer.

The Green Terror concludes the fall season at Frostburg on Thursday. Match time is 4 p.m.
