WESTMINSTER, Md. – Franklin & Marshall won all eight individual events to key a 55-31 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) women's swimming action on Friday.

Joanna Wattenberg (Monrovia, Md./Urbana) paced the Green Terror (1-7, 0-5 CC), leading off both relays to victory. In the 200 medley relay to open the meet, she joined Kelly Lewis (Montgomery Village, Md./Seneca Valley), Samantha Smith (Bangkok, Thailand/International School of Bangkok) and Syd Knadler (Crowley Lake, Calif./Mammoth) to post a time of 1:53.04. The best time of the season, the mark ranks fifth all-time.

Wattenberg then joined Shannon McClellan (Boonsboro, Md./Boonsboro), Maddie Gamble (Colora, Md./Rising Sun) and Emily Gross (Red Lion, Pa./Red Lion) to cap the meet with a win in the 200 free relay, posting a time of 1:45.02.

Three swimmers won twice for the Diplomats (4-1-1, 4-0 CC), including Becca Meyers in the 200 free (2:01.00) and 500 free (5:20.67). Jillian Albus won the 50 free (25.46 seconds) and 100 free (55.79) while Melissa Mullen touched first in the 400 IM (4:48.52) and 100 breaststroke (1:10.55).

McClellan was second in the 200 free for McDaniel, finishing with a time of 2:03.93, as well as the 500 free with a time of 5:26.83 – her best mark of the season.

Lewis placed second in the 50 free (25.67 seconds) while Smith was third in the event (25.97). Lewis was also third in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.21)

Knadler was edged in the final stretch in the 100 butterfly, finishing with a time of 1:02.68. She was also third in the 400 IM (5:09.92).

McDaniel returns to action at Bryn Mawr on Saturday. Meet time is 1 p.m.
