BALTIMORE, Md. – No. 11 Johns Hopkins won all three doubles matches en route to a 9-0 win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men's tennis action on Monday.
Seth McFall (Dover, Del./Caesar Rodney) led the Green Terror (3-12, 0-9 CC), winning four games on the day. He and Satchel McCarthy (Cape Elizabeth, Maine/Cape Elizabeth) dropped an 8-2 decision to Tanner Brown and Erik Lim at No. 1 doubles. Mike Buxbaum then topped McFall 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
Edward Corty and Jeff Mackenzie led the Blue Jays (15-7, 9-0 CC) with 2-0 days. The duo teamed for an 8-0 win at third doubles before winning by identical 6-0, 6-1 scores at third and fourth singles, respectively.
