WESTMINSTER, Md. – Swarthmore won all six singles matches as part of a 9-0 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men's tennis action on Sunday.
Seth McFall (Dover, Del./Caesar Rodney) led the Green Terror (3-8, 0-5 CC), winning 11 games over his two matches. He and Satchel McCarthy (Cape Elizabeth, Maine/Cape Elizabeth) dropped an 8-6 decision at No. 1 doubles to Ari Cepelewicz and Mark Fallati before Fallati topped McFall 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 singles.
Harrison Lands led the Garnet (9-5, 5-0 CC) with a 2-0 day that included a 6-0, 6-0 win at sixth singles. He also teamed with Josh Powell for an 8-3 win at second doubles.
The Green Terror returns to action at home against Dickinson on Tuesday. Match time is 4 p.m.
