ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Muhlenberg won all six singles matches as part of an 8-1 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men's tennis action on Saturday.
Seth McFall (Dover, Del./Caesar Rodney) and Corey Glocker (Silver Spring, Md./Blake) teamed to lead the Green Terror (3-7, 0-4 CC), notching an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles.
Derrick Eng led the Mules (3-4, 2-3 CC) with a 2-0 day that included a 6-2, 6-0 win at fifth singles. He also teamed with Eric Chavis for an 8-4 victory at second doubles.
David Woods and Satchel McCarthy (Cape Elizabeth, Maine/Cape Elizabeth) needed three sets to decide the No. 2 singles match. Woods took the opening set 6-3 before McCarthy forced a third set with a 6-4 win. Woods prevailed in the deciding set, 7-5.
The Green Terror returns to action at home against Swarthmore on Sunday. Match time is 4 p.m.
