Box Score

WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel scored four goals in a 6-minute, 21-second span to take a 17-14 lead en route to a 19-16 victory over Susquehanna in non-conference women's lacrosse action on Wednesday.

Danielle Entrot (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) led the Green Terror (3-2) with five goals and three assists. The five goals gave her 194 career goals, tying Brittany Baer (2008-10) for the program record. With her next goal, she will take over sole possession of the top spot on the all-time list. The senior is also within striking distance of the points record (nine points to tie) and assists record (26 assist to tie).

Kelcie Ehler paced the Crusaders (1-2) with four goals while Emma Jones added a goal and five assists.

Trailing 14-13 after Brynn Reid and Ehler scored 42 seconds apart, Maggie Quinn (Crofton, Md./Archbishop Spalding) finished a solo run for her 10th goal of the season to even the game with 15:37 showing.

Entrot hit Abby Phillips (Pylesville, Md./North Harford) with 12:56 to put the hosts in front for good.

A Sam Barbeito (Wolfsville, Md./Middletown) goal 2:41 later stretched the lead to two before Entrot matched the record, finishing a feed from Emily Brownawell (Sparks, Md./Oldsfield) right in front of the cage with 9:06 to play and scoring her fifth goal and five shots.

Annie McElaney and Brownawell traded markers before Becky McHugh converted a free-position tally with 3:01 on the clock.

Phillips scored on a wide-open net on a free-position attempt with 13 ticks left for the final margin.

Brownawell and Entrot staked McDaniel to a 2-0 lead in the game's first 1:02 before Ehler finished a solo run a minute later to spark a 4-0 Susquehanna run.

Entrot's second marker of the day with 24:00 on the clock sparked a 5-0 counter. Entrot scored three times in the 9-minute, 6-second stretch.

Reid drew the visitors with 7-5 before Barebito and Olivia Geiger (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) stretched the lead to 9-5 with 10:33 on the clock.

Three straight Crusader goals to close the first half made it a 9-8 game before Barbeito and Quinn stretched the lead back to three just 46 seconds into the second half.

Two Jones feeds keyed a 3-0 run that evened the game at 11-all.

Entrot added 10 draw controls to her eight points. Brownawell chipped in four goals and three assists while Quinn and Barbeito each tallied hat tricks. Quinn added seven draw controls as part of a 25-12 advantage for the Green Terror.
