Joe Fiore (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Beach) led the Green Terror (6-9, 0-1 CC) offensively with a 2-for-2 day.
Bryan Baquer led the Shoremen (11-7, 2-0 CC) with three hits and five RBIs, including a two-run home run in the first inning.
After a one-out error allowed Nick Marinelli to reach, Baquer jacked the second pitch he saw over the left-field fence for a 2-0 lead.
Dennis Thomas added a solo shot to center with one out in the third for a 3-0 lead.
An error and two-out triple from Marinelli pushed the lead to 5-0 in the fourth.
Cameron Bahr (Southampton, N.J./Seneca) blasted a two-out pitch over the fence in left field to get McDaniel on the board in the fifth inning.
A error, sacrifice bunt, walk and passed ball proceeded a two-out Baquer double to the gap that pushed the lead to 7-1 in the top of the sixth.
Doubles from Charlie Meder and Garrett Richardello made it an 8-1 game with two outs in the seventh.
Bahr, Fiore and Sean Sivo (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) drew consecutive walks to load the bases with one out in the bottom of the frame.
Drew Phillips (Sherwood, Md./St. Michael's) followed with a sacrifice fly and Marty Windisch (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) drove a ball to left field to score Fiore to make it an 8-3 game.
Run-producing doubles from Brian Alexa and Michael Acampora keyed a five-hit, four-run eighth inning that pushed the lead to 12-3.
A Baquer RBI double in the ninth stretched the advantage to 14-3 before the Green Terror scratched out a run with pinch-hitters in the bottom of the inning.
Jonathan McKinney (Jonestown, Pa./Northern Lebanon) drew a walk to lead off the inning before Donald Gilbert (Severn, Md./Glen Burnie) drew a two-out walk.
PJ Anderson (Falls Church, Va./George Mason) singled up the middle to load the bases before Domenic Fierro (Dumont, N.J./Dumont) drew a bases-loaded walk to force in a run.
Andrew Monger (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron) struck out six batter and walked just one, allowing two earned runs in six innings.
The Green Terror returns to action at home against Penn State-Mont Alto on Wednesday. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
