HILTON HEAD, S.C. – McDaniel won all six singles matches to take an 8-1 victory over Frostburg in non-conference men's tennis action on Monday.

Satchel McCarthy was one of four double winners for the Green Terror (2-0), including taking a 6-2, 6-3 victory at third singles.

Brandon Hall and Kenneth Alban combined for the lone win for the Bobcats (2-2), taking an 8-4 decision at No. 1 doubles.

McCarthy teamed with Seth McFall (Dover, Del./Caesar Rodney) for an 8-0 win at second doubles while Philip Jorgensen and Daniel Xinis (Owings, Md./Northern) teamed for an 8-2 win at third doubles to give McDaniel a 2-1 lead heading to singles play.

McFall added a 6-1, 7-5 victory at second singles while Jorgensen and Xinis each tallied 6-2, 6-2 wins at fourth and fifth singles, respectively.

Brian Kron (Upperco, Md./North Carroll) added a 6-2, 6-4 win at first singles while Matthew Langsdale (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6.

The Green Terror returns to action against Pikeville University on Wednesday. Match time is 12 p.m.
