WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel built a 9-1 lead through the game's first 19:42 en route to a 20-13 victory over Bridgewater in non-conference women's lacrosse action on Saturday.

Danielle Entrot (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) led the Green Terror (2-1) with five goals and two assists while Paige Messersmith (Phoenix, Md./Dulaney) added four goals and an assist. Messersmith also corralled eight draw controls while Entrot picked five.

Entrot doubled the advantage with a free-position goal 1:50 later before a Parcell-to-Messersmith marker and second Entrot 8-meter goal pushed the lead to 4-0 through the game's first 6:57.

Freeman dented the scoreboard for Bridgewater off a feed from Chamberlain nearly two minutes later before Beaudry started a five-goal run for the Green Terror with 20:19 showing.

Back-to-back Messersmith tallies and a pair of Entrot markers 14 seconds apart made it a 9-1 game.

Paige Hennssy and Jenna Devilbiss closed the deficit to 10-4 before a Kaitlin Mahoney (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) free-position goal with 2:49 and Sarah Rybak's (Reisterstown, Md./Franklin) first collegiate marker 40 seconds later stretched the lead back to eight.

Chamberlain and Freeman each scored in the final 1:07 to make it a 12-6 game at the break.

Chamberlain scored 2:30 on the other side of halftime to close the margin to five before the Green Terror ran off a 6-1 stretch.

Julia Jacobs (Stevensville, Md./St. Mary's) netted her first collegiate goal off a Mallory Michel (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) feed in front of the cage to spark the run.

Bridget Bopst (Westminster, Md./South Carroll) found Entrot with 24:42 to paly before Entrot hit Parcell 27 seconds later.

Bopst converted a free-position shot and Messersmith scored off a Bopst assist to push the lead to 17-7 with 16:31 on the clock.

Chamberlain and Beaudry traded markers before a Chamberlain free-position goal sparked a five-goal rally with 11:54 to play.

The Eagles closed to within 18-13 on the second Freeman goal in the run with 3:42 on the clock before Jacobs and Michel scored in the final 2:08 for the final margin.
