WESTMINSTER, Md. – Dickinson won six of the 11 events to key a 55-40 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) women's swimming action on Saturday.
Emma Duesterhaus (Spartanburg, S.C./Spartanburg Day) won three times to lead the Green Terror (3-6, 0-4 CC), including as part of the 200 freestyle relay.
Duesterhaus joined Kerrin Holmes (Avondale, Pa./Avon Grove), Mariel Ramey (Framingham, Mass./Keystone National) and Caroline Sussman (Washington, D.C./Spring Ridge) to finish with a time of 1:44.02, which ranks eighth all-time in program history.
Duesterhaus notched individual wins in the 50 free (25.91 seconds) and the 100 backstroke (1:02.72).
Caroline Brennan and Caitlin Klockner paced the Red Devils (6-3, 2-1 CC) with two individual wins each. Brennan won the 500 (5:17.67) and 1000 (10:53.10) freestyle events. Klockner touched first in the 100 (55.60) and 200 (1:59.25) free.
Brittney Lenz (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) added a victory for McDaniel in the 100 butterfly, touching first in a time of 1:04.38.
Abbie Schickler (Montgomery Village, Md./Covenant Life) won the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:11.80.
Sussman was also second in the 100 and 200 free. Her time of 55.66 in the 100 ranks eighth all-time, 0.03 seconds faster than her previous best time in the event. She finished the 200 in a time of 2:00.86.
Lexie Jacobs (Forest Hill, Md./North Harford) was second in the 200 IM (2:20.93).
Kerrie Vanscoy (Frederick, Md./Tuuscora) joined Schickler, Lenz and Holmes to finish second in the 200 medley relay (1:57.40).
The Green Terror returns to action at Franklin & Marshall on Friday. Meet time is 6 p.m.
