FERRUM, Va. – McDaniel won five of the six singles match to secure a 7-2 non-conference men's tennis victory over Ferrum on Wednesday.

Daniel Xinis (Owings, Md./Northern) led the Green Terror (4-1) with a 6-1, 6-0 win at sixth singles.

Chris Miller won twice for the Panthers (0-5), taking victories in both No. 1 slots. Miller partnered with Micahel Marsh for an 8-3 in doubles before winning singles, 6-1, 6-1.

Brian Kron (Upperco, Md./North Carroll) and Matthew Langsdale (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) recorded double-win outings for McDaniel. The duo combined for an 8-2 win at second doubles before Kron won 6-3, 6-0 at second singles and Langsdale won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 5 singles.

Tyler Justice (Georgetown, Del./Sussex Tech) and Bennett Daniels (Easton, Md./Sts. Peter & Paul) teamed for an 8-5 win at third doubles.

Seth McFall (Dover, Del./Caesar Rodney) and Chad Palman (Montgomery Village, Md./Gaithersburg) rounded out singles winners for McDaniel.

McFall took a 6-1, 7-5 decision at No. 3 while Palman won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 4.

The Green Terror opens the Centennial Conference schedule at home against Washington (Md.) on Saturday. Match time is 1 p.m.
